And The Dance Floor Went Boom!

As Bruno Mars would say ‘Don’t believe me JUST WATCH!’ Well, actually just look at the photos of this super stylish, classy, contemporary, dare we say it…. hipster wedding. These photos tell the story of a wedding that just drools sophistication and embraces our favourite theme: fun, fun, FUN! We were SO excited when these photos, courtesy of  www.davidolsthoorn.net, landed in BB HQ. They just simply ROCK!

Christmas magic at Dromoland Castle provided the spectacular backdrop for Elaine Rael and Aaron Gallagher’s December nuptials. The beautiful winter wonderland evening light lends a dusky other-worldly feel to their outdoor photos. Stunning!

Of course we are always curious to see the late night shenanigans and these photos do not disappoint. The madness we inflicted on the dance floor is palpable – IN A REALLY GOOD WAY!  Hang on to your seats!

Where It All Began

No, we’re not talking about Elaine and Aaron’s first romantic encounter, but rather their meeting with us! Initially Elaine and Aaron contacted us as they’d heard great reviews about the Bentley Boys and that we came ‘highly recommended’ from their friends. Flattery will get you everywhere – in this case to Dromoland and we were more than happy to accommodate them on their required date. This laid-back Limerick couple attended one of our Bentley Boys showcases a year previously and immediately decided that us B Boys would hit the right note on their big day (See what we did there !).

Here comes the science bit: They chose our five piece party band and DJ package which consisted of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and saxophone. Gotta love that saxophone! ‘Brass is Class’ as we are fond of saying! Elaine and Aaron requested we play for two and half hours straight, instead of the usual three hours with a break. We are always happy to go with the flow of the day.

The Music

Elaine and Aaron danced to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud as their first dance song. Mr. Sheeran can do no wrong at the moment and this is a hugely popular choice right now.

It wasn’t long however, before the cheesy 80’s power ballads and big hair took over. No judgement here – isn’t everyone a closet fan of 80’s music? Wielding guitars like a boss…well like ‘The Boss’ actually, we were in guitar solo heaven belting out Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, along with contemporary artists Pharrell Williams, Mumford & Sons and Kings of Leon.

Topping off the chedderfest, Elaine and Aaron also asked for some Christmas classics to be thrown in! Nothing like the Christmas Choons to make the dancefloor go BOOM! “Music for your feet” is our motto and this gang chewed it up, spat it out and danced on it that night in December! Just look at these photos! Elaine and Aaron’s family and friend’s danced like they were on fire!

Fun Fact! Did you know? With Bentley Boys’ entertainment options, you choose the number of band members and which instruments you want for your wedding. It’s that simple!

Always Nice to Hear

We won’t lie, we love hearing and reading great reviews like this. We love what we do and good reviews and photos make it all worthwhile.

“Thanks so much for helping to make our wedding day even more special than we thought it could be. You were professional when we first met months before, efficient and helpful in your emails in the lead up to our wedding, and brilliant craic on the day! We had the five piece band and DJ package. Band was AMAZING and the DJ was super, especially during Riverdance! :-))) We cannot recommend The Bentley Boys enough to anyone looking for a fantastic band for their wedding day! Thanks again guys, Elaine and Aaron :-)”
